Supplemental Complaint Filed in Muktinath Murder Case
While the earlier First Information Report (FIR) provided identikit of the alleged murderer, the supplemental complaint filed by victim's wife Indira Adhikari has indicted three Maoist cadres, viz. Devendra Poudel of Jita, Lamjung, Sadhuram alias Prabhuram Ghimire of Bhorletar, Lamjung, and Dhruba Adhikari of Kaski District.
At around 1 pm on January 16, 2002, a group of Maoists cadres had entered the premises of Panini Sanskrit Secondary School, Duredanda, Lamjung and forcibly took victim Adhikari away with them. Later, Adhikari's body was found with hands tied behind his back against an alder tree with neck tied to the tree with his own scarf.
The FIR was filed on17 January 2002.
