AF Organized Evaluation Meeting on 16 Days Campaign against GBV in Manthali
The program was chaired by Bichar Singh Dong, Chairperson of Nepal Bar Association, Ramechhap and hosted by advocate Pandav Prasai. In the meeting, participants suggested to establish a basket fund and joint activities for more effective campaigns against gender based violence, focus on schools and colleges, focus on caste based community sensitization, ban alcohol and poker games. The participants said that the government should acknowledge that civil society organizations also can do effective works against gender based violence and support them. They had suggested that the campaigns against gender based violence should continue throughout the year instead organizing once a year. The program was supported by Collective Campaign for Peace (COCAP).
